Piano Works, Vol. 1

Each track title comes from a list of prompts of different fantastical environments from twitter user “@_lonelytofu_”. The imagery evoked by the prompts is unique to the individual, and so the piano melodies for each track are a reflection of my internal perception of this fictional place.

The idea being that while each of these tracks is originally conceived discretely, they are eventually combined to flesh out a world in which all these places exist simultaneously. Essentially creating a soundtrack to this world. The same technique could also be applied to any other creative medium in much the same way to build a world over time.
